General Description:

Triathlon Level I is a triathlon coaching group that will help you get started in the sport and even achieve personal greatness.  Don't reinvent the wheel or guess what is the best way to train.  Join with other beginners and intermediates to receive expert quality instruction.

Each meeting of the group will consist of technique instruction, discussion mini-lectures, and plenty of training.  You will get started faster, improve faster, and reach your personal goals faster working with coaches Stephanie Honeycutt and Stephen Taylor.

Imagine yourself on the edge of the water on race day.  You are totally prepared and completely rehearsed for what is about to happen next...a great race.  In one paragraph it is impossible to list everything that you will learn in this class.  Rest assured all the details will be covered.  You will be mentally and physically ready in every way.

The best part about this program is that it is such a great value.  Rather than raising money for charity-based program, with STtrainer you simply pay a registration fee and everything is included: training plans, expert instruction, guided workout sessions, a coach on call...even support on race day morning when it counts!

Specific Segments of Triathlon Level I:

Tri Prep 5 weeks Feb 5-March 4 (5 weeks; 79.00)
This 5 week course will help you prepare to begin triathlon training in earnest.  You will initiate a strength and stretch program to stay injury-free during training, while learning introductory fundamentals of swimming, running, equipment, apparel, and nutrition.  This is the perfect place to start for the neophyte beginner. Feb 5th free intro clinic.  79.00 for remaining weeks in the program.

Triathlon Level I March 11-June 2 (12 weeks; 299.00)
This 12 week section of Triathlon Level I will take you from an ordinary mortal to a triathlete.  You will become immersed in the fundamentals of triathlon.  Embark on a challenge but realistic training program that will have you ready for the first triathlon of season.  Target will be Nashville's JCC Triathlon on June 2.

Triathlon Level I June 3 -June 28 (4 weeks; 99.00)
Don't stop now, the season has just begun.  This 1-month segment of Triathlon Level I will help you recover from your first triathlon and improve you for the next one, McMinnville Triathlon on June 28.  This brief period of time will set you up for the rest of the summer and complete your transition to the traithlon lifestyle.

Triathlon Level I July 1 -Sept 14 (11 weeks; 249.00)

If you are joining Triathlon Level I now, you have some catching up to do.  (We can help)  We are into the throes of the triathlon season, with some serious training now. This period is the culmination of your whole season.  How does it feel to have more speed, endurance, and strength than ever before?  This is what life and physical training is all about!  Training in this period will target Chattanooga Waterfront Tri July 13, Cedars of Lebanon July 26, Old Hickory Sept 6, and Music City Tri Sept 14.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION:  http://sttrainer.rd20.com/

Triathlon Level II is a new concept in triathlon coaching.  This program is target towards the intermediate-advanced multisport athlete.  To be considered for TRIATHLON LEVEL II, you must be training for olympic distance to ironman distance.  You also should show potential for being competitive in your age group.

WHAT YOU GET: Daily, totally personalized, written training plans by BRUCE GENNARI.  Weekly technique instruction and supervised workouts by STEPHEN TAYLOR.  This is the most individualized and advanced program, of this type, available in the region.

Let one thing be perfectly clear: This training program is not for beginners or neophytes.  This is a farm training program to take experienced triathletes to the next, maybe even the top level.

To be considered for inclusion in this group, you must be specifically invited by one of the coaches.  You can apply for an invitation by submitting your resume, race goals, and brief statement describing why you want to excel in triathlon.
